The Jardine Foundation was delighted to host its annual Welcome Dinners in Oxford and Cambridge earlier this month, officially celebrating the start of the new academic year and welcoming 20 talented new Oxbridge scholars—comprising both undergraduate and postgraduate awardees—into the Jardine community.

The dinners took place in Oxford on 13 October and in Cambridge on 15 October. The evenings were hosted by Mr Philip Hawkins, Director of Matheson & Co. and Scholarship Committee member, alongside Ms Donna Titley, Head of Jardine Foundation, and Mr Jonathan Lloyd, Advisor to Jardine Foundation.

A highlight of each evening was the formal certificate presentation, where incoming scholars were officially recognised as they embark on their academic journeys. Beyond the formal proceedings, the dinners offered a wonderful opportunity for new scholars to connect with returning cohorts across diverse disciplines—swapping stories, sharing experiences, and laying the groundwork for lifelong friendships within the vibrant Jardine family.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our 20 new Oxbridge Jardine Scholars. As they step into this new chapter, we are excited to welcome them into our growing scholar network and look forward to seeing the bright impact they will make.
